DescriptionLocation The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District is partnering with the Department of Public Health and metro Atlanta water managers to educate real estate professionals and the public on septic systems and water quality issues. The public benefits from working with real estate professionals who can explain septic systems and water quality issues that affect their properties, and who can provide reliable resources to them. This 3-Hour CE Course will provide basic information on septic systems, how to find records, system maintenance, and water quality issues relevant to a real estate professional or home buyer. Please note that you will not receive CE Credit if you have taken this course at DeKalb Association of REALTORS® within 365 days. Must be in class at 9:30 am and stay the entire time in order to receive the 3 Hour CE Credit. The class is FREE with a $20 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. The Board of Directors implemented the $20 deposit required for free classes to ensure that members who wish to attend these programs would be able to do so. Previously, we had a high no-show rate at many of our free classes and members who wished to attend were unable to do so. If you pay the deposit to register, you will receive a refund after you either (1) attend the course or (2) cancel with 48 hours of advance notice. Thank you for your understanding.
