DescriptionLocation DeKalb REALTORS®, in partnership with the Tucker Civic Association, invite you to lend a hand in the new boardwalk project at Johns Homestead Park, 3071 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084. DeKalb REALTORS® obtained a $3,000 grant to assist Johns Homestead, a 50-acre green space that contains the historic Johns Homestead (ca. 1829) and Twin Brothers Lakes, in building a 110-foot long boardwalk that bisects the planned park. As part of the Grant requirements, DeKalb REALTORS® must help clean up the trails leading up to the boardwalk location. Therefore, we invite you to come and lend a hand and help us secure this grant for the betterment of our community! The event is Thursday, August 17 from 9 am until noon. Parking is at Rehoboth Baptist Church in the lot closest to the Homestead. Please wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and a DeKalb REALTORS® shirt if you have one. DeKalb REALTORS® takes photos at all events.
