This course is designed to discuss GREC license law requirements for real estate agent owned properties as well as do’s and don’ts of property management as owner agents.
 
GREC Rule 520-1-.05. Maintaining a License
(1) Required Education. O.C.G.A. Section 43-40-8(d) requires that each salesperson must furnish to the Commission within one year of the issuance of an original salesperson's license evidence of satisfactory completion of a post-license course of study of at least 25 instructional hours (other than the Salespersons Pre-license Course or Brokers Pre-license Course) approved by the Commission. Salespersons must have completed such course:
 
(f) A Broker or Associate Broker shall satisfactorily complete at least eighteen (18) hours of continuing education on the topic of Broker education, as detailed in Rule 520-2-.04, during each renewal period. The effective date of this requirement shall be July 1, 2025. Any Broker or Associate Broker who renews an active license on or after this date must have completed at least eighteen (18) hours of continuing education on the topic of Broker education in order to renew.

This class is free for all new members who are present for the entire class time, and do not NO SHOW.  If you must cancel, do so PRIOR to 11:00 p.m. on the day BEFORE class to avoid being charged a Cancellation Fee.

Steps to Cancel a Class Registration - Member
  1. Log into your PEAR Member Portal
  2. Hover over the Events Tab
  3. Tap My Classes
  4. Tap the Details Button
  5. Tap the Cancel Button in the righthand margin of the webpage
  6. Confirm Class Cancellation Fee
  7. Confirm Refund Total
  8. Tap the Submit Cancellation button
  9. Print Cancellation Confirmation
  10. Hover over the Events Tab, across the top of the webpage
  11. Tap My Classes to confirm that this class is no longer listed
